Help me find a watch!
hey guys, currently looking for a relatively inexpensive watch around $1500. looking for something with a large face, and not chunky. i have almost no experience in watches, and prices im seeing are thousands out of my price range. so please suggest some models that i might be able to consider.cheers

Famous Last Words... "Just dropped by the AD today..."
I told myself only one AP, and I love the steel version that I bought a month ago. It's classy and almost reserved for a ROO.I was talking to my AD, and last week or so, started looking at the other pieces they had.1) The Diver: What a beautiful watch in person. The pictures of it never spoke to me, but in person, the watch is beautiful. The finishing is beautiful and I was smitten by how nice it looked. Especially in a black dial.2) The Bumblebee: Again, a very impressive watch in person. But alas...I couldn't get away from this one.I figure my collection needed one black timepiece, and this checked all the boxes. There are so many layers of black and different textures on this piece that I found myself mesmerized by it. I know everyone says it, but all the carbon APs have to be seen and worn in person to truly appreciate.Thank you to the CARBON ENABLERS here at TRF, hope you are proud to see the results of your efforts.Golden rule: Never go to your AD with an open mind LOL.

Finally hit 5,000 posts (small potatoes relative to many prolific posters here). TRF is a great forum with even BETTER PEOPLE. I¡¯ve made many friends here, many of whom I talk to regularly. I¡¯d also like to say ¡°Thanks¡± to those who have offered me advice along the way. There are many members here who have such a deep knowledge of Patek, and their willingness to share is part of what makes TRF such a wonderful forum. TRF is an invaluable resource in watch collecting. Use it ¡ª that¡¯s my advice! This has been a fantastic journey so far. So, what better way to ¡°celebrate¡± this milestone than with a posting of my first Patek, the 5712/1a. This watch will always have a special place in my collection (thankfully I realized this quickly after selling my first one - dumb move, but hey, I learned!). Patek Philippe dials?
Hello all! I'm hoping I can get some help here. 1st my back ground is a pen maker of watch part pens. These are my specialties in pens.Anyway I have a client that is looking for a Patek Philippe dial in both barrels of the pen he wants me to make him.Do any of you have a couple of dials available, or do you know anyone with these dials I could contact?Here is a pix of one of my pens in my limited editions series. He wants one like this but Patek Philippe dials instead. I hope this is ok to post here so mods if it isn't please tell me where to go in the forum.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!Dale
