This autumn, Piaget is launching its new website featuring improved ease of use, enriched content and enhanced interactivity. The look is pared down and restrained. The site is equipped with the latest HMTL technologies for content management and speedy loading. The site presents the brand’s history and expertise, and the latest news section is regularly updated. Visitors enjoy direct access to the watch and jewelery collections. Each model can be viewed from various angles, or admired in a video. Mechanical hand-wound and automatic movements reveal their development and operating secrets, while the jewelery creations unveil their aesthetic features. I was really excited about this watch when I got to play with it at SIHH 2010. Jaeger-LeCoultre has been working with the US Navy SEALs for a while making watches to suit their needs. Last year I wrote about my favorite version which was the Master Compressor Diving Automatic Navy SEALs Alarm watch. Now the brand has finally released the most "mainstream" version of the collection. It is a more basic three-hand version of the watch and is very pure in form. It really is a watch born out of an interesting partnership with people whose professional lives demand easy to use and durable timepieces (looking cool in the process is an unintended side effect).Previous watches in the collection were 44mm wide and this version is 42mm wide (and 14mm thick). In a time when such sport watches are still made with larger dimensions, I was very curious as to why Jaeger-LeCoultre shrunk the size a bit. The reason was simple. The Navy SEALs guys thought the previous versions were a bit big and asked fo
Until recently i've never thought of buying a watch. But i wanted to improve myself and i started buying some "real" clothing and i figured a nice watch would accentuate my wardrobe. So i started doing some research, visited sites like this one and learned as much as i could.Soon ONE watch turned into MANY watchesI decided that this would be my criteria:-i want to have a watch for each conceivable dress style (casual, sport etc)-$1000.00 limit per watch-Swiss made-Only buy a brand onceHere is my collection so farLove the way the yellow stands out with the black dialMy sport watch, wear it with a shirt and sweats or jeans. LOVE this watchSaw a member of one of the forums wear it and i knew i had to have it. Visually its very appealingBroke one of my rules when i saw this one, not swiss but i just thought it was such a cool looking watch and a great conversation piecerecently broke my rule again, The blue dial on this is beautifulHAD to have it :)this is where they liveThanks to many of y
