Swatch GS145 wrist watches news:
Breguet here offers a music box style watch with a disc and pins, versus the only cylinder approach. What is neat about the Reveil Musical Watch is that you can have the music box play as an alarm. But don't for get to wind this baby up - the 20-25 second long tune is a mainspring torque eater. 18k rose gold case with musical notes and staff placed on the side of it. The watch comes with this fancy wooden case and stand. What does that do? It is a system that is meant to amplify the sounds of the music box in the watch when activated on the wood stand. Hi, been browsing WTF for a little while (followed a link from the pistonheads watch sub-forum) but I've acquired a vintage Hamilton LED digital from eBay and was hoping to find out a bit more about it.I think it might be one of the later generation Hamilton QED watches - the number on the plastic inside is 913, the serial number is 906575, it apparently has a 10K gold filled bezel and stainless steel back, and it came fitted with 301 batteries but I'm not sure if they're correct or not as it didn't appear to work (hoping it's just the batteries!).Can anyone provide any info? Thanks!
I wore my Stauer Graves watch for the past few days. This is a reproduction of a watch custom made for a collector (Graves) back in 1933. At the time, this was the most expensive watch made. I would imagine that the $99 reproduction was not of the same quality as the original. Considering the price, I was realistic in my expectations and was not disappointed. For the price, I could have gotten a Miyota powered automatic, but the Chinese movement for the same price provided a few extra complications. There are four sub-dials; month, date, day of week and 24-hour indicator. The case was a little on the small side for my taste, but as I said, it is a 1933 design. The extended lugs do make it seem a little larger. The month and day of week are fairly easy to read, but the date and 24-hour dials are difficult. However, AM/PM is easy enough to distinguish. The three exterior buttons will advance the day, month and day of week making setting the watch that much easier. I wore the watch to a p
Doesn¡¯t adding a diamond bezel take away the functionality of the watch? I keep seeing Rolex GMT II watches with the ruby and diamond bezels and find it confusing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
