Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 16196 wrist watches news:
Lovely isn't it? Too bad it is only for women. And if you are a woman, then too bad you most likely cannot afford it. This is one of DeLaneau's Rectangular Dome watches. Here in its "Green Sunrays" variant with a green jade and mother-of-pearl face. Movement is the DL 1608 automatic with jumping hours and jumping minutes. Think about the very small club of watches that offer that. Price is 125,000 Swiss Francs.See my full article on the DeLaneau Rectangular Dome Green Sunrays watch here at Haute Living.
I was hoping not to waste too mcuh of your time. I am trying to work through all the information about Rolex (especially Submariner and Explorer). No I do not own one ¨C I am working up to that. I also want to buy the right one at the right price. My question ¨C what is written on the INSIDE of the case back of a Explorer and Submariner? To make it more specific ¨C Explorer I and Sub current versions. Can you direct me to website or photos.I have asked Rolex Australia, Rolex Austral Official Service centre and various authorised watchmakers in Australia. They thought I was stupid and did not answer the question.ThanksRegardsDan
Hey, This may be in the wrong topic but i was just going to ask whether anybody knew anywhere that had watches from 1993, im looking for one for my 18th birthday, for about ¡ê250 maximum, with a nice leather strap, and clean analogue face. Not too fussed about Branding, this is more for personal use than a collection!
So I have two Hamiltons and one is a Khaki Navy Sub quartz, which is my favorite beater watch. Anyhowthe other day I notice is running slow....way slow. So I reset it and watch it daily and it's losing 15 min per day.So me thinks it's the battery (I've had it about 2.5 years) so I go down to the shop and machine a tool to remove the case back...( I do all my battery changes, have for years without a problem) and I get the back off and very carefully remove the retainer ring and check the battery size. The watch is still running...realize I don't have that size, run down to the local Radio Shack and buy one ($5) and come back.Carefully I remove the old battery and replace the new one. And guess what? The watch won't run. Get online and try to see if there's a reset or something but to no avail. I even remove the crown and take out the whole movement...nothing.So now I test the batteries on my multimeter...both the old and new are right on at 1.5v....hmmmm...well lets try the old one
Will the pam 468 be a good investment to make as there was only a 100 produced ?
