Having a little fun with my vintage 321 powered Speedy
(before and after)I know several purists will cringe that it will take away from the 'value' of the watch, but I really could care less.This watch will be never sold anyway as I specifically searched high and low for a Speedy with 321 caliberthat was made in 1965 - the year I was born. Well,...I found one and in addition to placing a see-through case-back on it, I also had some of the screws blued by flame by my watchmaker.I just love this vintage Lemania based chrono and how colorful it was to begin with and I thoughtthat blue screws would add to that a little more spark. I am happy with the results and only wanted to share a quick photo here that I took in my office as I just picked up the watch from my watchmaker a couple of hours ago.

Hey everyone, I'm a young professional living in Vancouver, and after 12 years of post secondary training I have finally made the transition from being in school to earning an income. I am so excited to finally join the horology club and get my first timepiece. With that being said, I was looking at getting an Omega Ploprof and was wondering if there are any Omega ADs (and specific sales-people) the community would recommend. Thanks for any help that you can provide!

A huge thank you to Ken HL65, Benlee for all his fabulous photos, Snipermaverick, kittayos and WhatTheDeuce for all of their advice! Most will not even remember me as I talked to them early in this journey, which started in 2014. I have been looking for this watch since then but was unable to even see one in person until a month ago when my nearest AD got one in. Tried it on and loved everything about it but was not sure of the thickness. Came back home to mull over it and realized I just LOVE this watch. It was the same time that yessir69 posted that his AD was losing PP and found out they had this watch in stock. Long story short, I had them order a deployant clasp and ship it to me and here it is!For the OCD members out there- yes, I still have not set the moon phase yet, I am sorry!!
