- Tough as nails. When it gets dirty or sweaty, just wash it off with soap and water.Never needs a battery, never needs to have the time set.I had the older model before this one for close to 10 years before I finally broke it.I wear it every day.

- Bought this with another brown Le Chateau watch. They are great watches. Had I not left my last one in an airport bin, I would still have it.

Panerai PAM288 wrist watches news:
DAY 1: Ok guys, here is the latest RoadShow report! Last Wed. morning I got to the office bright and early ready to hook up the trailer, trying to beat the rain. I got everything all set and couldn't get the hydraulic legs to move. Then the sky opened up. Turns out the battery was dead so there we are out in the pouring rain with jumper cables attached to the car, sparks everywhere. Finally I got the legs up and everything hooked up. I ran inside to dry off and when we were finally ready to leave, I walked outside and it was sunny and beautiful. :mad:So off we go and about an hour into the trip we hit a state police roadblock. They have scales on the side of the road and all trucks have to go over. Sure enough, we are overweight! Poor Donna was flipping out, the trooper took me up to his car and put me in the back seat and left Donna. He just wanted to ask questions and shoot the breeze but she figured it was a full on interrogation. The whole process took an hour and I got a tick
Hello everybody.....,newbie here!!!So,I'm looking to buy my first "quality" watch and have narrowed it down to a handfull of choices which are within budget.Just wanted the "experts" to share their opinion.First of all....,I love the Omega Railmaster (41mm),but as I understand this model is now discontinued.I really don't understand why because it is beautifull in it's simplicity, and as far as I'm concerned one of the few watches worth saving my money for.You will see that my other, less expensive, choices are all a bit similar,as far as appearances go.....Here goes:1: Damasko DA 362: Fortis spacematic or B-42 flieger/pilot3: Sinn 556/656As you can see, these watches are pretty close in price/appearances.So...,let me know what your opinion is on these watches, when compared in quality, durability, engineering etc.Your opinions are highly appreciated!!!Mods: please feel free to move this thread to the appropriate forum if you like....,thanks a bunch!!!Regards,Raoul, the Netherlands.
I have noticed that GMTs that have been newly released bear the 1267xx designation and new 3285 movement. It would be interesting to see what happens to the 1167xx models in SS that are still on offer as they remain as 1167xx. Will they bear the 1267xx in the future or will they be phased out? Of course the same goes with the TT and PM models of the line.I guess that we will transition to the 3285 movements and 1267xx at some point in time. Interesting times ahead for the GMT line. Also will the 3186 movements of the (now) past command crazy premiums?
Just picked up a super jubilee from DavidSW for my BLNR.I know this is the wrong time to ask, but I haven't opened the Rolex package and want to ask the experts if this one will work. It's marked B20-63200A-20-E1?
I'd like to have my 16610 bezel+insert replaced at next service. The teeth became a bit shallow and the insert dull. Will Rolex do it and will it be included in the overhaul? Thanks
