- This is a great watch that goes from day to night. I bought this watch to wear with a cocktail dress but find I wear it all the time. It was easy to remove the links at home for a prefect fit. Love it! Great value!

Swatch GB284 wrist watches news:
Valentine's Day can be a brutal shopping experience and sometimes us guys even forget about it until the last minute. If you totally forgot about Valentine's Day or need to repair a botched attempt, we'd like to discuss a few interesting women's watches of various prices that should help clear things up. Be warned however, women know a soulless gift when they see one. You need to be charming as well!Ariel Adams says:Van Cleef & ArpelsThere are few watch brands that have the power to absolutely impress her while at the same time dispelling the ramifications of any argument like something from Paris-based Van Cleef & Arpels. Lovely incarnate, the high-end maker of mostly women's watches, jewelry, and expensive versions of young girls' fantasies is the perfect option when wishing to spend a hefty sum of income on a timepiece for your lady. She will absolutely love it given our educated guess. Go with something from the Alhambra collection if it is her first piece from the brand. T
Hi everyone, I am still enjoying my latest acquisition of my brand new in box Explorer II for the past month but have found a weird characteristic of the watch. When it gets daily wrist time for about 10 - 12 hours, it runs within COSC standards with +1s or +2s daily, which is very good in most context. However, when it is not worn on my wrist the next day or two, it adds +5s or even sometimes +7s daily when placed in my watch box. I don't use any watch winder if anyone is wondering. Because it is new so I am doing some checks on the COSC standards of my watch for the time being by keeping the watch fully wound. Has anyone encountered the same as me and is it something that I should be concerned about ? I can bring it in for regulating if needed since it is still under warranty but is it really necessary ? I can live with it just by wearing it for the time being and bringing it for regulating before expiry of the warranty. Any thoughts from fellow Rolex members here ? Thanks, guys.
....So , as some of you may remember, several months ago, I got my Gruen Curvex back, only to find they had put Guyren Veri-Thin on the dial .....arrgghhh....so I took it to Jerry about 2 weeks ago .....and he called yesterday and said it was back ! ....maybe setting a new record who now ? anyway ....here's the results.....I think it's from about 1942 or so ? ....any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated, as the Gruen data base is sketchy at best ......so, whatcha think eh ? and then a close up of the dial....and then .......of course ...the movement ......The oly real problem withy the case is this small crunchy on this back corner ....of course it has some small scratches , but you need a loupe to see them ...and the crystal is good too, ....now I have heard that this tonneau style is.....dare I say it ? rare....most of the 440s are in straight sided cases.......any one agree/disagree with that ?
As some of you may know through previous posts or the WTF Sales Forum I am going through a "collection reorganization" in which I am adding even more Hammies to. So I am having watches going out the back door and coming in the front...Acquisition #1 was announced (Ventura Gold LE).Introducing #2 Hamilton Khaki Mechanical 40mmIt came on a SS bracelet but I took advice from fellow Khaki owners and put it on a Maratek strap....It BELONGS on a military strap...Boy did this thing come alive!
Hi I won an old Omega geneva 1030cal on eBay for a steal of a price. The watch runs perfect and case is in good shape.. the dial is showing signs of patina or something else.. I don't think it's water damage as the movement is exceptionally clean. However my biggest problem is the bracelet is absolutely battered. Is it too far gone for restoration? Any suggestions for a replacement. Are there any leather alternatives as the lug width is only about 9.5mm. This is my 1st omega watch.
