Antique Longines Pocket Watch
Not one I bought, but I need to look it up for a friend.I don't really know anything about it, other then he paid too much for it. It's a gold filled case. The dial is shot, but the movement looks fine.I don't know if it works or not, the crown spins freely without moving any gears, like it's disconnected or something. Pulling it up does move the hands.The movement is only marked 'Longines Swiss 1227080'

I have been bit by the Panerai bugI picked up a 231 back in July and it quickly became my favorite. I have since begun doing some research and have found my next potential conquests. I have been longing to add a GMT to my collection and I have narrowed it down to PAM88 or PAM89! Now to decide on the finish!THE PAM 88orTHE PAM 89I love both models. I¡¯m leaning toward the SS, but also like the look of the Titanium. I currently don't own any Titanium watches, and do realize that 89's are rare. This is also very enticing, but the main reason I wanted to add another Panerai is because I love the versatility.
