The IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar In White Gold With A Blue Dial
I spent the day hanging out with IWC in Schaffhausen working on a little video project that will be ready in about a month. But, while bumming around bugging everyone from the museum curator to Kurt Klaus himself, I came across what is just seriously a beautiful watch. The movement inside this Portuguese is no different, and the day, month, moonphase, and year are all completely in sync, always. That means if you stop wearing the watch and it stops running, you don't have to set each indicator individually, but rather, just set the date with the crown and all else with adjust itself accordingly. So i went to my local Watch shop and was offered the attached watch at $4300 (+Tax, 8.25, its TX).Is this a good buy? Im not a huge fan of this watch . . .but if i can wear it for a year and recover most of my cost on a trade or sell than im definitely intrigued.THoughts? .jomashop/omega-watch-...21-03-001.htmlJohn T
