As such, the clock of the table has two springs of balance, the mechanisms of two synchronization and two barrels to maintain power. Why two? One is to tell the time, while the other is the chronograph mechanism. The TimeWriter horlogerie has one day 15 reserve power and must be bulging through the back of the clock.

Pictured below is one of my favourite watch hunts...but I cant find the model number, if there even is one.Is there any place I can find Benrus identifications from the 1930-40s? I believe the case was made in Waterbury CT with a Swiss movement.

x-post from the omega forum (from July) where I initially asked for some more info about the following watches:This weekend I visited my parents when I noticed a speedmaster in my fathers watch box that I did not see before.Below you find the pictures. It still works and the dial and hands appear to be in great condition. My father told me he got it from my uncle some years back. Because he was under the impression that the watch did not run anymore - nor did he know the 'heritage' of a speedy he never wore it.After I told him the basics I knew about the watch and asked some members on another forum I visit (thanks mark020 for your replies) I know now it is from 1969 and it is an post moon. Off course one of my questions was if he had the b/p.Yesterday he asked my uncle, who told him he unfortunately did not have the b/p but he did had another omega watch he never wore.To my surprise it was a 2 tone speedy (pics below). Even in a better condition, with box and it runs after winding (st

First PAM - 305 ... kinda disappointed
got my first PAM - traded in my Deepsea + got some cash and picked up a 305.Gotta day - little disappointedPROs:looks boss. Almost every guy who knows watches, (or doesn't) loves it.Every single woman i meet comments on my watch. (Including my GF who constantly praises it) - total comments on my deepsea? Zip. (Except for people asking me if it was real)I like that it's not as well known as Rolex/people (In Canada at least at least) don't assume it's fake....the american's i work with tell me NY is very different.possibly the greatest weekend watch of all time...both positives.Negatives - it doesn't fit under ANYTHING i wear in businessSuitShirtanything with cufflinks. Brutal.Probably going to trade it for an IWC 8 day Yacht club if i can find one.....love it, but as i have other things to save for right now (as the GF reminds me) as my daily it's somewhat lacking....*disappointed in Toronto sadly*Know anyone who wants a 305?
