OK, so this is nowhere near as vintage as a lot of the pieces I see here at WTF. And it's a gold tone piece. But I really needed a dressy piece, wanted it to be a Hamilton, and found this: the Hamilton Masterpiece. As near as I can tell, this dates from sometime in the very early 1980s. It's quartz, it's got a base metal bezel and the case size is 34mm:eek:, a size I never thought I'd wear. But I'm really enjoying this piece because it is BNIB (NOS). That's the fun thing about collecting Hamiltons. You can find a wide variety of pieces from across the 20th century, some of which are new old stock. I'm having fun with this:)(The packaging is really cool, too!)
Is anyone familiar wth the 1959 President Polk model? Inherited it from my grandfather, but have only seen one refetnce to it. thanks.
Gentlemen, this is my first post on this Forums. I'm a bit confuse and need some advice to decide my next move. Here it goes : I already have SS Divers and I have been eyeing FC Divers for sometimes. Since I read on this forums that FC Divers will be discontinued, so I'm kind of worry if I don't buy it now, I won't be able to find the new FC Divers to buy in the future. I'm not gonna sell my SS Divers, so the question is : 1. should or shouldn't i buy the FC Divers since my AD is having it reserve for me? 2. having two AP Divers, same movement but different materials...stupid or ridiculous?Look forward for some comments....
I have a PAM164 since 2004. Need some opinion on service, should I get it done or not. I don't wear the watch too often, apparently no issues with the watch. I am not sure how accurate it is or if the power reserve has gone down. Was quoted close to $600, any parts replacement if need would be additional. Is it worth it or wait till it stops, also any recommendation in Bay area CA for service.Cheers
