Orient question
I have a question about Orient watches. First thing, I am looking at a CEM65006DW for a daily "wearer". I currently have two Bulova Marine Star watches. I mainly wear a 96G77. It is a 100m "dive" watch. However, it is just quartz. I know that is really the "superior" way to tell time, but it feels so boring. I feel like I am looking down at some toy with a little battery making it work. Sorry if that is stupid, but the idea of a mechanical automatic watch powered by "me" seems so much more, ah, alive. Again, it sounds lame.1: Does Orient make their own watches? Or do they only make their own movements in house, and are they as vertically integrated with their production of movements (or the whole watch) as Seiko is? (I've heard Seiko to be 100% VI )2: Where can I find a good price for one of these watches that WILL ship to Canada? I am not sure where I would get one fixed AND, so far, it seems like Ebay is the only option. Any reputable dealers of them on Ebay?3: What could I expect f

Thank you for all the valuable advice from the esteemed members of the Omega forum of TRF. I've been keeping my eye out for a 3570.50, and it was harder, than I thought, to find here in Hong Kong pre-owned.Today I stumbled into a vintage watch store and found a 3570.5000, complete with box, papers, and hangtag.It is in fantastic condition for a 12 year old watch that has not been serviced. There is a small ding on the bezel at 6 o'clock and the lume on the hour and minute hands are starting to fall off. I figure I would be servicing anyhow so the above wouldn't matter.Here's a picture of the newest addition to my collection:Would you take it to an official Omega Service Center or do you think an independent watchmaker would do?
