TAG Heuer WAH1214.BA0859 wrist watches news:
If you're looking for a very respectable amount of bang for the buck, you could do quite a bit worse than Longines, who have in recent years developed a very large collection of timepieces that are based on watches from their very long history (which, in one form or another, goes back to the early 1830s when Auguste Agassiz set up shop in St. Imier, and founded the company that would eventually become Longines.) The entire Heritage Collection, in fact, is a pretty rich trove of timepieces that offer pretty great value in one form or another, from the great looking Conquest Heritage to this fantastically old-school monopusher chronograph with trench-watch style lugs, and many others. We're not saying every single one is a home run but there really is something here for just about everyone and in general, at very wallet-friendly prices. 1 OF 5 We just recently got to spend several days with one that we really like a lot: the Heritage Dive Chronograph. This is a heft
So a friend posted this watch in another communities 'what's on your wrist' thread and I can not seem to find it anywhere, much less identify it. I really like the watch though and would love to find one so any help from you lot is appreciated. Here is a picture, obviously this is not the stock strap (I have permission from Alex to use this pic)He says that this is printed on the back:H500-S062519I can see it is an Eco-Drive Chronograph and can find similar watches on Amazon but not the same, any help is appreciated!
OK, so tonight I took my wife, my son and my parents to see the Toronto presentation of The Sound of Music. Of course the question for any WIS is...what is the proper watch to wear for such an evening ?Well, a Musical, called The Sound of Music, seems to me you need a musical watch...so here it is my latest addition from IWC...Cheers,Rob
On Friday we had the good forturne to be at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. As a shutter bug I had lots of opportunities to get some shots of the role Omega has played in space exploration including the first watch worn on the moon. Cheers, Bill P.
I was really trying to resist getting the Patek 5990. I think this watch had a gravitational pull¡. on me at least. I love my Patek 5164 dual time as it is so easy to change the time setting without messing anything else up, it is under the radar when traveling, and so easy to wear--- but I also love chronographs¡ I also like the look and feel of my Nautilus 5712. This has to be one the most comfortable watches i have ever worn.. well i do digress--I had written to my Patek AD some time back and never heard back. I assumed either they missed the email and/or did not have but it not being the best time for me to buy-- i let it go.. But thanks or maybe no thanks to someone on this site - who shall remain nameless or lets just call him the enabler --- mentioned to me that their AD (which happened to be mine albeit for a shorter period of time) had one in stock¡ Well the rest is history¡ I just sold my PAM 311 which is dual time, chrono and PR indicator that i also liked but fou
