TAG Heuer WAH1314.BA0867 wrist watches news:
Hey GuysI know we all have an affinity for time machines but how far back do our tastes go?Retro styles have, astonishingly to me, been in since around the later part of the 90s if memory serves me well. Very evident in cars it seems with the return of chrome and deja vu designs in dashboards. But watches have not been immune to the return to bygone days it seems.Contrasting the contemporary looks of the Aqua Terra
Okay, watches are a touchy subject with me right now. :mad:I've just got back from my Tag Heuer AD. Some of you with very long memories may remember I sent it in for a full service in MARCH.it was due back in mid-April (4-6 weeks, fair enough). I waited until June, heard nothing, so paid them a visit (luckily they're only 5 mins walk from where I walk).Apparently they are having problems replacing the crystal (mineral) since the watch is out of stock etc. Not once did they bother to contact me to update me on what was going on which annoyed the heck out of me.Anyway, I remembered that the exact same watch is still currently available as an Auricoste watch - same case, same CRYSTAL, same ETA2824-2 movement, same bracelet, same dial, except for the Tag Heuer logo. You can't get closer than that.I found the contact details for Auricoste in France, and emailed them to the AD. TWICE. Still no reply, so I went into the store, got another email address and emailed it again from home. Still no
Guys,Love my New Safari very much....but I would like to be able to swim and jog with it....Should I buy additional Rubber Strap or SS Band?Regards,
Hi all. I'm still trying to acquire my first PP while hoping to make as good a decision as I did when I bought my Rolex 16610LV over 5 years ago. I love my Submariner but have found myself enchanted with the classic looks of the 5035J or the Moonphase. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for something along those lines that is 1) lease likely to lose value and 2) might be closer to the $10K range? Thanks!
Does Tudor need buy-in from Rolex to create their watches? Is Rolex still the parent company, albeit with no real control?Looking at the new Tudor Pepsi GMT, it looks nearly identical to a 16710, without crown guards. Does Rolex need to approve?
