TAG Heuer WAV511C.FC6230 wrist watches news:
I Ordered it 6 weeks ago , and finally is here...It came in this luxury plastic bugWave design under the strapIt's a deployment strap so the deployment buckle is necessary..Time to take the bracelet off The strap is waiting to ''meet'' the watch...On the left the bracelet's spring bars and on the the right the bigger spring bars i am going to use with this strap. Both pairs are genuine .Omega is using bigger spring bars for straps and smaller with bracelets , for more secure fitting i guessparison photo:On the left the strap with the bracelet's spring bar and on the right the bigger one.Wrist shots finallyThats it , thank you very much for watching.
Hi all, I'm new.I have my mother's 1950 Elgin Lady Watch that I want to give to my sister for Christmas. I wanted to know more about it and visited the Elgin site where you can look up a watch by Serial No. The results are somewhat puzzling. The serial number I have is F95246. After searching that number, it tells me 1) that the watch is a 19 jewel, however, the watch clearly states it is a 21 jewel. It states 21 on the watch face and on the inside of the watch. When I opened the back to get the serial number, the jewels were red. Are they rubies? 2) They indicate by way of an asterisk that it is nickel. Not sure what they mean. The watch back says 10K G.F. Bezel / Stainless Steel Back. This watch has a mesh band.Lastly, the following was also where I located the serial number: 906 ADJ. Does anyone know what that means? Before I give this watch as a gift, I just wanted to know more about it. I'm old, but I'm new at watches, which my Dad loved with a passion. This watch keep
Hello everyone. I am new to the world of watch collecting. I recently purchased a vintage Elgin with 19 jewel movement and a 1 piece case. I also acquired a Swiss made Imperial 25 jewel Super Datomatic. Both have leather straps in good condition, both run and appear to be pretty accurate, and both will be going in for cleaning and adjusting in the near future. I took some photos but none came out clear. Will try again later so you can see what I have to start with and let me know if they are decent starter pieces. I got them because I liked the way they look. I have several other watches like my Seiko 5, Croton, Armitron automatic with Seagull movement, and a Rolex I received when I graduated from college. Only worn it twice too lol. Thank you for any help pr advice you can give. I don't even know if I got a good deal on the watches lol.
Picked-up the RG Unitimer this afternoon, to add to my Breitling collection..... I'm really liking this watch, though it is a little large at 46mm, it wears nicely.
I will post this on the Rolex Forum as well. Considering another watch and on my wish list (apart from the pm models) are pan 233 or the Datejust Ii fluted black dial white stick markers. My current collection which i will not be getting rid of any consists of a Rolex DSSD, Rolex gmt master 2c Ln, and a Rolex Sub 16610I am sure i will eventually get both in the collection at some point but which would you go for first? I am guessing as this is the Panerai forum most will say the 233.
