It would be my first mechanical watch and one I intend to keep for a really long time.However, this article linked above gives me some concerns on purchasing any watch (whether Oris or not), which has an ETA movement.Can some of the more knowledgeable folks share some of your thoughts on this?

i just recieved my new black monster - love it BUT after only having it a few hours its gaining 6 minutes an HOUR.The manual does state that if the watch isnt charged properly ( ie: worn for 8 hours a day) it main lose or gain times excessively - im hoping that because ive only had it on for a few hours from new ( where it may have been sitting on a shelf for months) this is the case but 6 minutes is hell of a lot of time to lose per hour.I may have to return it.Any and all ideas are welcome

I own 2 modern Accutron autos, Amerigo and Gemini. Does the fact that Accutron/ Bulova being sold to Citizen a few years back sorta diminish or in some way lose appeal in your community? I know Accutron was known as a Space Watch and had a unique status in the Watch World.
