TW Steel CE1043 wrist watches news:

The local jeweler is a watchmaker and used to sell watches in his store. He still services them, if they are old enough, and he's done work for me before. He's well into his 80's and slowing down, but I still wander in there every month or so to see what he has in his used and consignment case. He usually has several decent pocket watches and occasionally an interesting wristwatch. So, a few weeks ago, I happen to spot a Longine Flagship in his case. He said it was a brand he'd sold back in the day, and this one was just left over from that time. It's been knocking around in a drawer that whole time, and he happened upon it and moved it to the used case. But when I looked at it, he wouldn't sell it to me because the hour and minute hands were not aligned properlythis may be why it was in the drawer in the first place. Saturday, I wandered back in, and he'd serviced it to repair that fault and to clean and oil the movement. He sold it to me for less than the usual ebay figure. This is one

Just curious. Are the 5270 and 5970 blue dial color different ? All pictures are from the internet.20170102_6f168c63a8cce9b9d8be9MbPxYOiUmCo.jpg5970-special.jpg
I've been eyeing a Nautilus for a little while now, focusing on the 5711, doing my research, etc. This past weekend I went down to Shreve and tried on a little bit of everything, trying to finalize my decision. In addition to a variety of other brands, I tried on a Nautilus and an Aquanaut, the Nautilus hands down my favorite. A little bit about my watch history for reference. Daily wearer is a Exp2, occasionally I wear a vintage Tudor Sub, have had several Pams and a few IWC's, and selling my BP5002 and Pam368 to fund the PP. Moving towards keeping everything at 42mm and under. Not a wrist size issue (7.5) just a taste thing. For the next watch, I'm looking for a dressy sport watch on bracelet. But back the issue, I was trying on a 5980(since they didn't have the 5711), and it was perfect, but way out of my budget. My concern is in the differences in feel between the 2, as far as I can tell the 5980 is a good bit thicker as well as heavier, which I liked. I'm concerned that t
