- I love it and have already had compliments. I would give it a 4 out of 5 because it's too heavy and pinches a little. But what's a little discomfort for beauty.

TW Steel TW5R wrist watches news:
Apparently based on a never actually made design from 1942, the limited edition U-Boat U-1942 watch is an Italian blast from the past. The story goes that the Italian Navy commissioned a special watch to be made, but it never made production. This U-1942 watch is based directly on that design - and it is really sharp looking. The oddest part of the watch is of course the crown. It extends out.. maybe too far.? It is kind of silly and phallic to be honest. I mean it works, and looks cool, but you know.Lets just say that it looks like a periscope...yea that's it. The crown is meant to have a functional use though. The idea is that it is meant to be easy to use with gloves. Easy to use meaning winding it and adjusting it. Not sure how easy it will be to release the crown while in the locked position with gloves though, but probably pretty simple. Further, I believe that the crown can be adjusted and wound underwaterwhich should be nice. The watch is big! Really big with a grade 5 titanium

Hi I'm currently thinking about swapping my YMII yg to an AP offshore full braclet the Brick or just getting a skydweller Ss to add on my collection what do you guys think?
I just noticed that my newer SD43 crystal appears to be etched, the marks look just like hard water spots on a car. Very disconcerting.- I've already rinsed with water and washed with soap, soft sponge - no difference- I'm 100% sure the spots are there. Under certain angles and different lighting I can't see them, but under my desk lamp they are clearly visible.- Once seen, cannot be unseen.... I sometimes play with different chemicals such as brake parts cleaner, carb cleaner etc. I don't recall getting anything on here but that's likely it. How to get this off? CLR? Hit it with a buffing pad an Dremel? Automotive cutting compound? Nail polish remover? (Please don't say send it to the RSC!!!)ThanksPic for proofUse this URL for full resolution pichttps://i.imgur/aoFO4Sq.jpg
