TW Steel TW305 wrist watches news:
With the NBA playoffs in full swing, and LeBron James’s Cleveland Cavaliers moving on to the second round, we re-present our feature on the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore LeBron James limited edition, launched in fall 2013, which had the design input of James himself. Here are five things to know about the timepiece. 1. It’s not what one usually expects in a star athlete-branded sports watch. “King James’s” Audemars Piguet is not predominantly black; it does not display his current team’s colors or his jersey number; it has no obvious references to his sport (i.e., the baseball counterweight on the seconds hand of Randy Johnson’s Ulysse Nardin or the basketball pattern on James’s teammate Dwyane Wade’s Hublot); and it’s not even overly large (the case is a relatively modest 44 mm in diameter). first im goin to tell you alittle story. 2 year ago I didnt know anything about watches, so i bought my first watch it was an Adee Kaye, so I went to a watch forum and ask about the brand, Everybody in the forum was kind they didnt say anything bad they even told me that for the money it was a good watch. so there i was wearing a watch that i though it was good, i was an ignorant. some people say "if you like it wear it" this is not true when it comes to watches. Now that i have alittle knowledge i would not buy a watch that it is poorly made even if i like it.One day i was helping one of my elderly Neighbors that looks like Clint Eastwood to change a tire, he look at my watch and ask me to take it off i did and then he ask me how much i pay for it, i say $150 and then he told me "how can you pay $150 for that chinese made crap you got ripp-off" i was shock ..but i was thankful he was Honest with meIf a beginner come to this forum ask our Opinion on the new watch/brand that they jus
All of my current Hammies come with sapphire crystals. Is this important when buying a Hamilton watch?Honestly, in my many years as a watch wearer, I think I have only broken a wristwatch crystal once. I have a Heuer stopwatch that needed a crystal replacement but it is a large watch.
About 20 years ago, I inherited this 70's (I think) solid gold Omega. Since then, I've been trying to find out a little bit about it, but no luck. I just can't seem to find it on the internet. So, can any of you Omega experts please help me out? The dial says Omega automatic Geneve only. I've never even used it, the clasp keeps opening, so it's just gathering dust. I feel a little bad about it Thanks in advance!Petter
Excuse my ignorance but can someone tell me whether speedmaster pro dials should have feet on? Theres one appeared on ebay and it says no feet - would it have had feet? Can't be sure from the photos. Thanks, Alan
