TW Steel TW72 wrist watches news:
Got myself another rare beauty, a 70s Breitling Chrono-matic Bullhead ref. 7101. The oblong shaped case is quite unique which offers easy access to the pushers. The blue dial contrasts well with the orange hand set. The watch is in excellent condition and is powered by the famous cal. 11 movement. Hi Folks,I'm normally in the Rolex Vintage Forum across the hall. I have an opportunity to pick up a really neat looking Seamaster 300 but would like some of you professionals to take a look at the dial for me. It appears to be a 1965ish model with a date, but aside from that it's a crap shoot otherwise. Any insight would be highly appreciated.Pete
I have this chronongraph since forever, and I think I want to sell it to put the funds towards a wristwatch.Could the connaisseurs direct me towards a reasonable value for it?Thank you in advance.
I was never big on Rolex due to the connotations associated with it and the fact that everyone and their mom knows Rolex - I don't like drawing attention to myself. I finally decided to give in and buy my first Rolex once my wife gave me the go ahead.I walked in to an AD 3 months ago and picked up a 114060 SubC. Great watch as it is built like a tank and the bracelet on it nothing short of amazing. Buying the 114060 was a bad idea . . . as it was an eye opener. A month later I walked in to a local jeweler that only carries pre-owned watches including quite a few Rolexes. I tried on a Polar 16570. I always thought the watch looked bland in pictures but in person I fell in love immediately. I went back home and did some research and ended up purchasing one with drilled lug holes and SELs. (side note - I had no idea what SELs meant only a few months earlier)I've since been kind of struggling with the SubC. While it is amazing in build quality and that bracelet is the best on the market, t
