Michele MWW02M000047 wrist watches news:
To close October, we are turning our attention to the city of Hong Kong, which is surely one of the most significant market for watches. Hong Kong, as some of you may know, is the single largest market for watches. It continues to the lead the world in terms of value for Swiss watch exports. Last year, it imported over 4.1 billion CHF worth of Swiss watches, nearly double that of the United States. And along with neighboring China, it¡¯s also one of the world¡¯s largest exporters of watches. So this month, we decided to check out the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and also Watches & Wonders 2015. Check out what we saw in this month¡¯s round-up below. Our visits to Hong Kong aside, we also look at new watches from SevenFriday, Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Omega. Finally, we check out Greubel Forsey¡¯s deceptively simple-looking Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision to find out how much work actually goes into the watch. And, still on the subject of high-end watches and finishing, we examine
Hi guys I'm new to this site. I have a few watches in my collection which i don't know terribly much about and was hoping you wonderful people could help. The first watch is a Lanco 25 jewel. The back of the case says 36592 c6, i dont know what model this watch is or what style of chain it originally came with or the current value or anything else about the watch. In the picture of my 3 other watches, im trying to find out more about the seond watch in the middle. I have edited the photo but it is of the actual watches i own. The middle watch is a Silvoz and states antichoc 17 rubis on the front, has anybody come across this watch or could tell me a little about the companies origins. Help with both these watches would be much appreciated.ThanksWill
Well, for Christmas, my family bought me a BEAUTIFUL watch case. I told them thank you of course, as I was thrilled, but made it known to them how much money their kind gesture would undoubtedly cost me in the near future. LOL! Im already speaking to another forum member about purchasing a large and lonely watch from him, and I figured I would see what else I could get on the cheap to start filling up my new watch box!My requirements are that it must be Mechanical / Auto.Must not be Asian (Although a Seiko Black Monster is in the running HA!)Must be 42mm or larger. And of course, must land within my price range.Im looking at The Aviator Hi-Tech Chrono (Russian Poljot). Which I have in Black, but would love the white dial version as it doesnt have numerals, and both dials are limited to 350 pieces. The Tissot Seastar. As I posted earlier, Im really digging this watch.A Steinhart Aircraft 8 (Pre-Loved). Im really starting to like this B&R design. Used to hate it, now love it, go
