Black dial on vintage Seamaster - real or not?
Hi all,So, after having read so many people's bad experiences with black-dialed Connies, I've become scared of all black-dialed Omegas! What do people think about this one? The "S" in the Seamaster looks like the old style font. Unfortunately the seller appears to be a bit of a newbie, and didn't know the caliber or case number (and doesn't know how to remove the back....). He's told me it is a bumper. DSOTM For Sweaty People?
Hey Omega Crew,I have loved the DSOTM ever since it was introduced a few years ago, and only grew to love it even more every time I've tried it on. I really want to add it to my collection, but I have one misgiving - the strap.I love the cordura strap, but I typically only wear steel bracelets because I tend to get sweaty in the summer time and I don't want to ruin leather straps.My question is this: I know the cordura strap is lined with a thin layer of leather. Does it hold up after a couple years of wearing it during hot summers?Thanks for your input!
