TW Steel 047/500 wrist watches news:
Introducing the Breguet Classique Hora Mundi 5727Breguet unveiled the Hora Mundi 5717 in 2011 with its hand-engraved map of America, Europe, Africa or Asia and Oceania on the dial. The brand has released a more classical but equally stunning version of the model for 2016.It's called Classique Hora Mundi 5727 and features the signature instant time zone system with memory. Unlike a traditional GMT watch, this piece has no subsidiary display but just a pair of hour and minute hands. The mechanical memory with heart-shaped cams can be set to remember two different time zones. Press the pusher at 7 and the hands jump from one to the other and automatically take the day/night and date markers with them. The dial features a Clou de Paris engraving in the centre as well as a "flamm¨¦" and "panier" pattern in the day/night indicator at 4.Price: 67,000 CHF (rose gold) ¨C 67,500 CHF (white gold)Par Fabrice Eschmannbreguet
Hi! I'm new on that board, I was searching on the web some help to value an antique watch I own. And I came across your forum! I was gifted a watch, when my mother passed away, years ago, and she had that watch from grand-mother. It's probably old. It is working perfectly. It's in pretty good shape, only few "diamonds" are missing. I have no clue about the value, I don't know any local market in my area for that kind of watch. Is it worth something??? That's what I'm trying to find out! Any help is appreciated! Thanks! I'm adding some pics!
I am new to the forums and this is my first post. I am considering buying the 37mm 15450ST. This will be my first big watch purchase and the whole process is a bit daunting. I went to go check it out and the lady tried to sway me towards the larger 15400 (41mm). She also kept referring to the 15450 as a ladies watch. I am skinny, 6ft and have a 7 wrist. I am more of a classic guy and tend to prefer smaller watches but not too small. I also feel the AP wears slightly bigger. I have a few pics but I am newbie and haven't figured out how to post yet.My questions are: Do you think this is too small for me or men in general? Is it a ladies watch? Do any of you guys wear this model? I am just curious to get your overall thoughts. Thanks in advance.
Ok, after 6 weeks of shopping I pulled the trigger on the 5270. I know that the 5970 is iconic but this piece is far superior as a grand complication perpetual calendar chronograph. Thanks to hutchman for his perspective and to Alan for getting his first. Unfortunately no wrist shots until Fri or sat. I am traveling and no room in the bag. So FedEx for Friday delivery. And yest that is the only other pic I took. Going to see it again later tonight. Going to Patek Event and will take Pics.
