Tag Heuer WAN2111.BA0822 wrist watches news:
Well, after about a month of searching high and low for a reputable watchmaker, I sent my SMP to get serviced. Since I don't want to break any kind of rules regarding posting names, I won't say who is doing the work unless someone chimes in here and says it's ok. I will say it's not Omega. If I get the OK, I will post the name and turn this thread into a review when I get the watch returned. It's going to be a long 4-5 weeks, but I'm excited to see the results!
Hi everyone. I recently was led to the Hamilton website for the first time and discovered the 38mm Khaki Field Auto (H70455733). Its simplicity really struck me, and it has a great chance of becoming my first Hamilton. (I'm new to the Hamilton brand and this forum.)However, I then noticed that it's "not available in the U.S.A." Does this mean that it's simply not carried in US stores, but can be found elsewhere, perhaps online? Or am I late to the game and it's been discontinued?Any help would be appreciated - the watch has really grown on me, and I'd love to track one down. Thanks!
If for some reason, by some disaster, you were able to only keep one watch out of all you own, what watch would it be and why?For me it would be this Elgin pocket watch that belonged to my grandfather. Circa 1930's.I remember as a small child sitting on his lap and playing with this very same watch. It still keeps great time today. Every watch I own can easily be replaced for a price. But this watch can not be replaced and therefore it is the one that I would save if I could only save one.
Or is it? ................
Hi AllRecently bought a PO which I'm delighted with! It has a co axial escapement meaning service times are lengthened to approx every 7/8 years. My question is regarding the seals, are they ok for this length of time or do they need checking every couple of years or so?and would this have to be sent back to Omega to check? As if yes this would defeat the object of increasing the service times. I'm using the watch for normal swimming ie not diving. Any ideas? Thanks
