Benarus Bronze Moray brief review/initial impressions
My Bronze Moray finally arrived today after approximately a 5 1/2 month wait. It is my first of the brand. Do you speak "reference number language"?
For example, when at a AD will you ask "May I try on the 16610, please" instead of just saying Submariner? Or another example, if you are having a conversation with face to face with someone will you say "the 2220.80 and 2531.80 are both 'Bond' watches"?I am trying to figure out if I am the only one that speaks "reference number language". I call it a language because sometimes when I am talking to my friends it seems like all we hear are numbers, no brand names. When on the forums, I usually use the reference number of the watch I am talking about. This way the reader is able to determine the precise model he/she is reading about. It also helps me become more acquainted with brands that I am fond of.Now when I visit a AD and ask to try on watches I use RNL and most times they need clarification on which model I am asking for. Why No Love For 5712G?
I own one of these watches and I'm in the process of selling it to fund a Datograph, otherwise I would keep it. It's tough going and I'm not sure whether people just don't like it (honest answers please) or whether I'm pricing it too high (pm if you have suggestions). I think it's an amazing watch that's 6 degrees of separation from the ss version, but I'm not sure why others don't seem to get it. What am I not getting? Any comments or pm's gratefully received!
