Technomarine 113023 wrist watches news:
I bought a Hamilton wristwatch on eBay and from what I can glean (I found a listing of a ton of old Hamilton catalogs on another site), I think what I have is a Lester model from 1947 or '48. The movement is a 982, ser# J390010 and it looks to be in very nice condition with an excellent dial.
Sorry it's taken me a couple days to post this, I've been extremely busy, but I received my Ball Watch Company coffee mug. I just wanted to thank you guys for conducting the contest, and Brandon, thanks for getting me the winning prize shipped to me so soon. I really appreciate it!
The Audemars Piquet section of these forums is stacked heavily towards the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore models. I'm also a big fan of the Royal Oak watches (and have a 15400).My other AP, which I just got locally used (price too low to refuse), is an Edward Piguet in stainless steel (15015ST-0-0001VS-01). I estimate from the serial number (E-12xxx) that this watch was produced sometime in 1999.So, let's see some photos of your non-Royal Oak AP's!
Have had this one for a couple of weeks and haven't had a chance to take pics. What can I say...I'm in love. The blue dial is different than the typical black dial diver and the titanium case disappears on the wrist. If you haven't tried this on, do so. It is a classic beauty. No complications to muddy up the dial and an adjustable clasp for all-weather conditions.
IÖÂe got a Black Dial 16570 that I do not have the bracelet for and which I wear almost daily on a black rubber Everest strap and its quite simply my favourite watch, more so than either of my Subs (14060m & 114060). I have recently bought another 16570, this time a Polar on a bracelet and I‰¯ like to put this watch into my rotation. IÖª not really a bracelet guy and are looking at alternatives. IÖª reluctant to get another Everest as I donÖÉ think black would suit a white dial and IÖª not keen on the other available colours. IÖª therefore thinking about NATO³Õ and maybe a leather option. Anyone have any suggestions and even better pictures. Thanks.
