Technomarine 108031 wrist watches news:
What are everyone's thoughts on the Sub LVs? At one time, they were very hard to find, now, they seem to be very easy to acquire. ADs either have them, or can order them fairly quickly. Did Rolex increase the production, or did the demand fall quite sharply, leaving ample supply? What are people's thoughts on this?
Hello all,I came across this watch and would like to know if anyone can give me a little info on it. Is 'Longine' a 'Longines' forgery, a different company or something else. Sorry that the pictures aren't that very good, the crystal is fairly scratched. At the top of the face is written 'longine 213 Electra' and at the bottom is written 'LIFETIME MAINSPRING'. The top stem rotates the outer ring with names of different world cities (time zones), the middle stem sets the time and date and winds the watch and the bottom stem rotates the the second ring. It is a fairly substantial watch weighing 87.3 grams (including band) and measuring 4.5 cm across at the crown and 12 mm thick. The watch winds and runs. Thanks in advance,Brucewatch 1.jpgwatch 2.jpgwatch 3.jpg
I thought it might be interesting and different to see what our members EDC (every day carry).Mine is as follows: My watch of the day (of course ) - usually the Submariner or Planet Ocean, Kahr subcompact .40 cal. with CT Laser Grips, reload, Spyderco Delica or Native Knife, Crossbreed inside the waistband holster, Novatac 120 Lumen flashlight, Wallet, Maui Jim Sunglasses and Cellphone. How about you?
Pretty excited with this watch and joining you guys :)
I have been gauging the market and it seems there are a lot of flippers that bought these watches to make money and are now having trouble selling them even at retail. Batmans going for maybe 500 over retail finding no buyers. D Blues for under retail in the same boat. The true market is the wearer market, and it seems to be well supplied. No one is desperate enough to pay over retail. Soon I expect to see these watches on display at AD¡äs.I am sorry if this is not what some want to hear, I am just stating my true thoughts as I see them.
