Technomarine 609021 wrist watches news:
Any thoughts on SS vs TT in Rolexes? Personnally, I tend to think that most watches, particularly Rolex watches, that look good in steel would look better with a little gold. Not just for the bling, just because it looks better to me! One specific example is the Daytona, which I think looks like an overused faddish fashionista bling-bling status symbol in SS, where the TT, again, it's only my opinion, looks classier, and a less peer-pressure induced purchase. What do yall think?J
This seller always has BEAUTIFUL watches! That said, just about every dial is redone.. and for most Illinois collectors, that is not typically a plus. That said, it's probably always a bad idea to re-print a Blackstone dial as a Cushion. Please see: 260914252100

I recently added an AP ROO Diver to collection. I bought it pre-owned, and am really loving the watch. When I was admiring the watch the other day, I noticed that the 8 screws on the caseback are slighty marred. This was probably done when someone was trying to authenticate the watch, and probably didn't have the exact screwdriver. It is not that noticeable, and it is in the back of the watch. However after I noticed this it started bugging me. I enquired about getting the screws replaced, and I was quoted $25 a screw, and I would have to ship it out.My wife thinks I am getting a little OCD with the watch. What do you guys think. Would you get the screws replaced or leave it?
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a 422, but I am not an expert on this particular model. As a watch lover, a know a little bit about a lot of watches but I can certainly use some additional information on this one. It's a pre-owned example, in outstanding shape. It looks new. Both OEM straps are brand new and they have never been used, the previous owner used the watch on a custom strap. It has triple boxes, paperwork from AD dated 11-2012, the brown leather and black rubber strap, plus the tool. I've always had an itch for Panerai but I was never willing to spend big bucks on a watch with a Unitas movement. This one, being in house, ticks the right boxes. Plus I think it's gorgeous. It was pretty much love at first sight, even though it looks ridiculous on my puny wrist. Any advice or anything I should know about this? Reliability? Desirability? Will I get killed if I want to unload it down the road?Service costs?I believe the price is right, actually below anything I've seen on
