Omega Watch Exterior Steel - Nicks and Repair?
Hello everyone!I've had my Omega Planet Ocean for a full year, and it managed to survive in pretty good condition being worn daily.This weekend I noticed two noticeable little dents or nicks in the stainless steel exterior. Unsure of what could of possibly managed to chip some of the metal. I'm curious on if dents like these are repairable or what options there are.Attached is a photo of the two little dents, to the right of the 20 mark on the dial. Yesterday, I was fooling around, and entered an antiques shop, and found this babyI got it for $30 , so I decided to restore it...The bracelet is broken, and have no clasp, so will be replaced for a leather strap...The crystal and crystal gastek will be replacedThe case/caseback will be polished/brushed againAnd finally, the movement need to be repaired/cleaned , lucky I got a lot of spares when restoring my blue hummer, so no problem The dial is in pristine condition, all the lettering is intact, the index markers and Omega logos are perfect too, a good clean up will do it...
