Tissot T006.424.11.263.00 wrist watches news:
I was curious what other are seeing on their Breitling's with the Cal 13 movement in it in seconds per day. My watch gains 5 seconds a day if it is on my wrist or on my winder. This is within COSC specs. I was just curious what other are getting out of their watches.
Hi guys! You've probably heard of the annual Detroit Auto Show, considered the biggest and best auto expo for new car models and innnovations. Well, we watch enthusiasts got our own! It's called Baselworld 2011 and it started today over in Basel, Switzerland.I'll try to spot items I think will be of itnerest to beginning watch enthusiasts.First up is a watch by Gronefeld (est.1912) called the One Hertz (a hetrz (Hz) is a unit of frequency defined as the # of cycles per second. You see this a lot in radio and TV broadcasting specs). And it has this name because it is the FIRST MECHANICAL WRISTWATCH with the second hand that moves one time every second in one-second-increments, just as you see in watches with quartz movements. I think I'm turning JapanesehahaAnyway, I began collecting with Seiko and Orient, buying their 50-150 dollar watches and honestly I got burnt out because I bought most of what they had to offer. Now that I'm buying more expensive pieces, a whole $300-400 nowI'm back from Swiss land to see what the Japanese had to offer at a higher price point. After looking around for what seems like forever, and thinking over and over about what I really wanted in a watch I found it. My original criteria called for a 36-38mm watch, comfortable, sapphire, and 100m resistance. After looking at the SCVS/Sarb lines, and the Orient Star'sI found a picture that showed me the case on the scvs001, I was sold.the case design on the newer spirits like the scvs011 and Sarb023 were too blocky for meI wanted something understated/classy but not out of place with jeans. The pillow like case with rounded lugs that are aggressively turned downso classy IMOthe cream dial with gold (I know I know) can go with jeans/K

How would you describe the possible interest in ownership of a not yet 2 year old Constellation Double Eagle, gold/stainless? 1203.30.00. I understand it is no longer available for purchase. Would this fact make the watch more desirable, or less? it's a real watch, all crads, boxes, etc. Thanks in advance everyone. Chuck
