However, the brand has a long history as a creator of fine timepieces coupled with a unique style which makes it hard to ignore...The original Cartier Santos was reportedly designed and created by Louis Cartier himself in 1904 for his friend and pioneer, Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. The Santos has been a major piece in the Cartier collection for a long time and in 2004 Cartier released their Santos 100 line which included larger Santos models.The Santos line has many variations, however, they are all styled like the original. This includes a square case that is slightly curved on both sides which makes it fit effortlessly on the wrist. The dial has the signature Cartier Roman numerals, including the incorrect IIII at four o'clock - this allows the markers on the right to better symmetrically match the ones on the left.T

My Extraordinary Christmas Present!
Some of you may have seen this post on another forum. If so, my apology.My wife had my father's watch restored for me. See the before and after pictures below. This is a 1952 Seamaster Calendar in 14 KT gold. The watch was restored at Omega in Bienne and took 13 months. She won't tell me how much it cost!Hope you like it.Wishing everyone a spectacular holiday & New Year!Joel

Trade a Rose Gold Panerai 497....I have problem. Trade?
My name is Pierson and I have a problem.... I'm ADD and even when i get my dream watch I keep looking at others. I've got a feeling that I should be in good company here. So, I own an awesome 10 Day Radiomir, the PAM 497. One of 250 made, rose gold, yada yada yada....and have been eying a swap for the Rolex Daytona Meteorite, gold, strap version. Should I? Basically a straight up trade. If it was the bracelet version i'd do it in a heartbeat. I do have a thing for space/nasa stuff. I'd kill to own a Omega Snoopy if anyone has one lying around ;)
