- I love pocket watches and this one ranks as one of the best. It's well built and keeps excellent time. I like the fact that it's attached and I don't have to go digging for it.

- I really love this watch. It's a perfect size for me, as an XL-1X size person.I have about a 7 wrist, and it's got plenty of room to size up some. It is a nice band, a tiny bit warm, but the face is beautiful.

A new Formula 1 driver -based watch from Audemars Piguet is this new Royal Oak Offshore Jarno Trulli. Boy, it sure is nice, but looks very little like where these watches looked as though they have been evolving. It is possible that ending with the AP ROO Grand Prix, designer Octavio Garcia felt that the designs of brands race themed watches was getting too wild. While I liked the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Grand Prix watch - it is safe to say that it is a controversial design. You can also see the AP ROO Rubens Barrichello II watch here (another F1 driver). Thus, it isn't hard to see were AP has "scaled back" the look of the design a lot. Emphasis is on the forged carbon case, high-tech cermet (cool metal ceramic hyrbid material) dial, and the titanium crown and pushers. In a sober looking gray, the Jarno Trulli is dressed up a bit with bright red elements on the dial.Actually quite nice, the watch is more simple and easy to read that its "cousin" pieces. Only gripe I have is
I have a Thunderbirds Edition I got from a neighbor who used to work for Citizen. I never wore it, as I always had something else I liked more. It is essentially brand new. Did you know that Hamilton manufactured cases for watches that contained Illinois movements in them? This happened after Hamilton bought out Illinois...From Finer Times-HAMILTON - AMERICA'S PREMIER WRIST WATCHOf all the brands of vintage American wrist watches, the one that is arguably the most desirable among collectors are those that were made by Hamilton. The wrist watches Hamilton produced during its ¡°golden era¡± the 1920s to about the mid ¡®50s are often referred to by collectors as the ¡°American Pateks,¡± in reference to Patek Philippe, the Swiss company that produces what is generally regarded as the world¡¯s finest if not most expensive mechanical wrist watch. This notariety is perhaps ironic in that the company did not sell the most wrist watches during this "golden period." That distinction belongs to Elgin. And it certainly wasn't the first American watch company in existence; in fact it was the last. Waltham, Elgin, Illinois, and Hampden - which all produced wrist watches a
Hey guys, I'm fairly new to this forum, though I'm more active over at WUS. Anyway, I'm looking to purchase my first AP. Particularly, one of the new 26470. As I haven't seen one in person and there are no dealers near me, I'm trying to choose based on photos. Basically I'm looking for one I can wear daily. My office is business casual so usually I'm wearing khakis and a button down shirt or polo in the summer months. I'm torn between the navy, the grey/black, and the safari. I've got a BLNR and the blue on it works fine so I'm leaning towards the navy. But the black on my Sub also works in any situation. I'm looking for opinions on which color you think would match the best with my daily attire and office setting plus a more casual setting on the weekends. Thanks
