Jon Omer to Head DeWitt North America
DeWitt has announced that Jon Omer has joined the company and that he will lead all DeWitt activities in North America, including Mexico and the Caribbean. Prior to joining DeWitt, Mr. Omer served as vice president at Harry Winston where he reorganized distribution and grew sales. Mr. Omer also oversaw Bulgari’s growth in North America for more than 10 years. Mr. Omer is Chairman of the American Watch Association and on the Board of Directors of the American Watch Guild.

Which would it be?
Hey PalsAs some of you may know the Speedmaster Professional post Moonwalk and until the early 80s had the cal861 movement in Red Gold. Well not of it but where we currently see Rhodium was once Red Gold. It looks great as I'm sure you've seen from Fr John's pictures.You won't find them with display backs of course. These are converted examples with the cost of conversion somewhere in the region of $400 I would say since a display back would cost approximately $300 assuming you can find one.That would bring up the cost of an early 70s Speedy to something akin to the price of a pre-loved LE. Even the 30th Anniversary " Hello Houston" model now goes for no less than $2200 these days.Hence my question is - which would you go for? The Conversion or The LE? Or perhaps you would consider a young 3573.50 instead?So which guys and why please?Y'all be well now pals ZIN

Hamilton Titan I - Owners Tips Wanted!
Hello,I've recently added the first 'Electric' to my Hamilton collection - the 1958 Titan pictured. I fell in love with this watch the first time I saw it, sort of Art Deco meets Space Age (for some reason I've not warmed to the Ventura as much). Aesthetically the black and gold dial is stunning and the Electric/Patent Pending lettering are very cool in my opinion. Also being a Mad Men geek it transports me straight back to the late 50s/early 60s. The other reason I committed to this was the 500 movement - whilst being notoriously difficult to work with and unreliable there is something special about owning and wearing the first commercially available electric watch and all the research/work that Hamilton put into getting it out (albeit rushed) onto the market. All my other Hamiltons are 1940s era with 982 movements which I love but you can't help but admire Hamilton for investing in the 500 and 505 like they did. GUYS, I'M VERY CLOSE TO PULLING THE PLUG ON THIS CARLOS COSTE AND WANT YOUR THOUGHTS..I WAS GOING TO GO AFTER THE CHONOGRAPH ORIS BUT NOW I'M THINKING THE COSTE MODEL INSTEAD. BOTH ARE 47MM AND I HAVE A FEW CHRONOS ALREADY.THIS IS THE STYLE I WAS LOOKING AT BUT AS I ALREADY HAVE THE BREITLING AVENGER (SAME AS IN THE PHOTO) I THINK I MIGHT BE ADDING ...JUST ANOTHER CHRONO....IT COMES WITH BOTH RUBBER STRAP AND BRACELET IN ONE KIT.
