Steinhart Watches designs have always covered a wide range of styles, from divers to military to racing and more. Recently the popular brand released a new, limited edition model in their racing line that plays homage to the 24 Heures du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans in English), the oldest active endurance sports car race.The Le Mans GT Heritage Chrono is a limited edition watch of 111 pieces. The watch clearly shows its racing inspiration right on the dial: the GT at 6 o'clock, the bold orange racing stripe down the right side of the dial, and the model number in a race car format at 3 o'clock. Even the strap takes on a racing theme with a handmade leather racing strap by Gunny, with complimentary blue stitching and large holes. The oldest known instrument used to measure time is called a gnomon. It is simply some type of vertical post - a stick, column, or stone - that casts a shadow. When the shadow is at it's shortest length it is noon. Hi all,I just purchased my first Rolex-a 116234 and love it! I have a Speedmaster Automatic which I bought used about 3 years ago. With the addition of the Rolex, I feel like I've outgrown the Speedy Automatic. I am looking to either trade toward a Pro or sell the Automatic and buy a Pro outright. I understand that I will do better by selling the automatic-it was just serviced and refurbished by a local jeweler and runs great. What do you think it would bring with inner/outer box and no papers?Thank you in advance for your help.Sam
