Luminox has announced a new model called the Recon Nav SPC (Navigation Specialist) which offers a feature set that the fifteen-year-old Me would have killed to have for orienteering meets. This new model looks to be a complete solution for map-based navigation when you're out in the wild and need to chart a path back to civilization. Featuring a walking-pace tachymeter, a strap-mounted compass and a strap which can be used to calculate distances on a map, this Luminox is an old-school analog navigation tool in a modern platform.The Nav SPC employs a 46mm carbon reinforced polycarbonate case with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and the Luminox-standard compliment of tritium tubes for low-light illumination of the hands, markers and bezel position. The design is obviously that of a Luminox, but the dial markers are oddly asymmetrical with 1 through 8 (blue illumination) in an orientation that is parallel to the dial edge and 9 to 12 (yellow illumination) in a more traditional perpend

I just received this Invicta 3262 at a good price and thought it would make a good beater for work. Below the picture I will describe my two dealings with forum sponsors and my one (and now only) dealing with Shop***A couple months ago I was in the market for a new watch and decided to give one of our sponsors a shot. After all, they do support this forum we so dearly love. On a weekend night I PM'd Larry at Tritons and asked if he had a specific model Invicta. I did not really expect a reply until Monday. I got one that night! Larry told me he showed one in inventory but he would have to double check Monday morning. He also quoted a price that was VERY competitive with Shop and Amazon. Early Monday he PM'd me back and said he had the watch. I payed and I am sure he shipped that day because by Wednesday or Thursday, can't remember now which day) I had the watch. Cabachon crown
Hi, I have a watch collection and some have cabachon crowns. I personally think these add something to a watch.I would like to fit these to a couple of watches but have no idea whether crowns and stems are one peice or seperate. Also does a stem screw into the side of a watch and is the fit dependant upon the length of the stem.Are all screw threads compatible with all watches as a standard fit. Sorry to show my ignorance but at the moment I have not a clue. Thanks jack
