Need photos of 1970s Seiko and Citizen watches for a TV documentary
I'm working on a documentary about how a watch is made. The history segment of the documentary will talk briefly about the rise in popularity of quartz watches in the 1970s. I've been trying to find video and photos of 1970s watches by Seiko and Citizen, but it's been difficult. Are there any watch collectors here who would be interested in taking a photo of their quartz watch from the '70s and sending the photo/s to me for possible inclusion in the documentary? Simple white gold Calatrava
Guys,I had a pic of Putin with a watch I believe what a WG Calatrava but lost it - was trying to identify the ref. Long story short, am looking for my first WG Calatrava that would be a classic model (no longer in production) with perhaps a date function but no subdials. Any ideas on references? A size 36-38mm would be fine. 5119G from the current collection is quite nice but a bit too fancy in my opinion for work use.I have a 5712 in steel and a 5196J.Thanks.
