Ulysse Nardin 353-92-3C wrist watches news:
...and ticking like a champ!Details on Wednesday (ish) as part of a Project Watch Club thread. Well, okay....I'll admit I forgot a movement shot so I have to take it back to the city to have Sam open it up.
This is posted in the GDF also, but deserves to be shown here too.Just got a package back from Jesse (omega564) and thought you guys needed to see this. I bought this from Craig (Wombat) knowing it needed some help, but wanting a blue dial vintage piece for the Longines collection. Since it had a caliber 6952 that wasn't present in the box after selling my Olympian, it was worth a roll of the dice. Besides, C-cases are cool. Here are the before shots showing the dings and scratches, each one immediately followed by the corresponding after shot:Any questions? Didn't think so! Wrist shot coming soon to a DWC thread near you!
Hi. I've inherited an unusual Instantime watch which has a pretty strange mechanism...I've actually posted about it before. It's not financially valuable but has huge sentimental attachment, and so I was hoping to get it working again. Does anyone know of someone who might fancy taking on an unusual repair job in the UK, preferably South? I took it to a couple of places in Oxford and they drew blanks! Thought I might find something a bit more specialist in here!
ENZO MECHANICAHere are details on the cool dive watch. (Boscoe disclaimer: They are a WTF sponsor, so that's where you can check 'em out. I'm posting this because the designs are interesting - not because they're a sponsor. However, I do appreciate their sponsorship.)When we set out to make this diver's watch, we thought of stripping down the concept of a watch as jewelry or status and our mindset was in line with a machine or tank, industrial age forged steel, minimal ornamentation, something indestructable to last a lifetime of extreme use, simply put, a man's watch, having said that, we would like to introduce to you the EM001. SPECIFICATIONS FOR EM001: 1) Diameter of the case: 42.00mm2) Width of the band: 24.00mm3) The total thickness of the watch: 16.70mm, weight 286 grams4) Crystal: domed 5.30mm thick sapphire w ultra violet coating on the underside5) Movement: ETA 2824-2 Automatic with engraved enzo mechana rotor6) Case and band: 316L surgical stainless steel7) Water resistant:
Hello there all-Some Panerai dials have markers which are easier to determine the color of (e.g., orange-brown, green). But I'm having trouble with the 233 - depending on surrounding colors (and the band its mounted on), it appears more green or more cream. What color do you see the indexes/markers as on the 233 (steel, not gold version)?
