The wrist strap / bracelet disengages when you are out on the water. My solution was a twist tie passed through to secure the strap.It's nice because it's relatively inexpensive AND it is not made in China which is rare for REI.

Newbie first post - repair question
I've had a Seamaster Chronometer that's about 5 years old. Really, ever since I got it it's lost about a minute a week, about five minutes a month. I love the watch and wear it almost daily, but it's starting to drive me crazy that a Timex is more accurate.Considering its age, is it time to get it to a pro to have it "maintained"? Should I get it repaired?
