MOD EDIT: Seems to me that we've had a bunch of new arrivals so I thought I would dust off this old thread started by Tom. So - for those that have not yet contributed here and wold like to then please go right ahead. There is another old thread about how we chose our screen names but I can't find it so if you'd like to add that info also please do. Not watch-related, obviously. This topic was on the GF a while back. Since there are fewer members that visit individual fora, I thought it would be nice to know what fellow watch enthusiasts/collectors for a living.I've been a tooling designer for two food can manufacturer's since 1978. Was at the first company in Ohio for 18 years and when we were bought out by a larger competitor I started looking for a new job in the same industry. I've been at my current company in Wisconsin since mid-1996. My division manufactures food cans and lids for customers like Campbell's Soup, Del Monte, Hormel, Progresso, etc.

So here is the story:I was walking out of the bathroom at a club in Orlando last night with my AP Ceramic Driver on and someone bumped into me and the next thing I know my watch was no longer on my wrist and it was no where to be seen. I immediately checked the floor to see if it maybe fell off my wrist. It was gone! Someone stole my watch right off my wrist! I honestly feel like I want to cry! I filed a police report and called AP. I unfortunately did not insure the watch. Any suggestions... Everyone be careful with your watches. You never know...

INCOMING of a different kind
I have always been a Rolex and Panerai guy. Call me single dimensional or just the lack of courage to step outside the box and try something different. I have been admiring another brand of a Diver kind.. (fits my love of Subs in general) and man.. what a refined piece here in the AP Diver! This is just a super sleek and well crafted piece with a silky smooth movement. It just exudes quality all over!Well... here she is and I think it will make a great diversification away from the collection! Thanks again to Howie for the good influence.. the man simply has great taste and I am really enjoying this piece more than I imagined!Here are a few quick shots after work today!
