U-Boat ECLIPSE-50-AB-BK-BK wrist watches news:
There are many ways that a watchnerd may come to know about the UK-based watch strap brand GasGasBones. Founded on the goal of reproducing NASA's design for a velcro strap to suit the Omega Speedmaster, GasGasBones have been making custom nylon and velcro straps for many years. If you didn't come to know about GGB after hunting for a perfect Apollo-style strap for your Speedmaster, then perhaps you bought an early Bremont MBII, which included a GasGasBones handmade strap as its secondary mounting option until late 2011.More recently, GasGasBones has been supplying the straps (and watch roll) included with the current range of Meridian watches, also a small UK watch brand. As a one man operation, GasGasBones is the product of Carl Evans' passion for bespoke straps, military watches and doing things his own way.GasGasBones is Evans' full time gig and he produces each strap and a variety of watch-related accessories by hand from his workshop in Surrey, England. Halloween is my favorite childhood holiday for good reason; it attempts to imbue fantasy with reality for at least one day. And it is perfectly legitimate to do so. That is why I have been tempted on so many occasions to spend hundreds on fancy costumes.Likewise, Corum knows how to imbue a healthy amount of fantasy in their watches and make them perfectly legitimate luxury timepieces. Corum has released a number of interesting and high quality watches (many of them limited editions) over the years. For whatever reason, a large number of them have features a skull and other parts of a skeleton. They aren't spooky per se, but they are certainly avant garde and not for everyone. They are certainly for me though, and I love these mostly limited edition watches from Corum. Most of these watches are based on the Corum Bubble watch, with its tall domed sapphire crystals, and rounded shaped. Really, this are nice watches to hold and wear. You might be put off by their unorthodox looks at first,

With your help, opinions, etc, I visited my local Rolex dealer yesterday and got a 214270 Explorer. I had the short hand model for a short while, and am really pleased with this watch. They had a used, very clean OP 39 in Blue. I had a Grape last year and liked it, for whatever reason I parted with it. I now feel though that the OP 39s may be too youngish for me. I am 66. What do you guys think, and if you have one and endorse it, if you feel like it, give your age, or if you think there is a particular demographic for this watch. I know it comes down to personal taste... and I kind of feel like I may finally arrived at a watch that I truly love in the 214270 Explore, maybe best to quit while ahead... thank you!
