Vacheron Constantin 86615/CA2R-9839 wrist watches news:
This watch is for those who really get into complex mechanical complications. Instead of a regular perpetual calendar, this watch is designed to follow a 1,000 year without correction cycle and takes into account the rule governing the Gregorian calendar. A Europastar article breaks down the details. The watch is available in four versions and uses a Cintrée Curvex curve automatic movement.
I get the sense that many chaps avoid the 15450 because 37mm seems too small...in fact, I myself struggled to pull the trigger for this very reason.I'm glad I finally got over this mental barrier and went for it, it's the perfect size for my wrists which are 6.5 ish.I have a Daytona which is a nice size also, and a Sea Dweller which works well for when I want a more casual look and when I don't think a bulkier watch looks out of place. But the AP is just perfect for me, so much so that my dealer is now on the lookout for a blue dial model (I was originally going to swap the dial, but the silver is so nice that I've decided to double up instead).A nice watch only looks nice if it's worn by the right person, and size of watch vs size of wrist is a critical factor. I know some people with similar sized wrists that wear a large ROO and it works for them, because it suits their character and the way they dress generally, but on me it would look ridiculous. So if you have smallish wrists, if
Really like both these models - in fact I'm torn between the 2 options. Would like to hear thoughts from those that maybe have owned both or at least considered both models.Pros and cons of each?General thoughts on why you would choose one model over the other. And if you would choose the 5726/1A, what dial choice - grey or white? Thanks in advance.
I wear my Airking every day, except for Saturday when it¡¯s off half the dayWill it work for the next 5 years until it¡¯s first service or is it better I wind it occasionally ?I read somewhere that automatics are more accurate if fully wound manually every so often my. Is this true ?Has anyone only ever wound their watch once when they bought it :)
Hello, Need some help, I have the opportunity to get from a grey dealer a SS Sky Dweller blue dial, at premium price of course, or a AP 15400 below Mrsp, both BNIB with stickers. The AP would be 1000€ less. In order to fund this purchase I would need to flip my sd43 bought last summer. I got a very good quote from the dealer I¡¯m dealing with, that meaning I will be slightly on plus with the sd43.At the moment my other watch is a Panerai Radiomir 572.What should I do?Thanks.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
