It was six years ago that Audemars Piguet released their very first ISO certified diver’s watch, the Royal Oak Offshore Diver. I am looking into getting a new watch, and was told to look into getting a vintage ss sports watch.I was never really keen on vintage (I'm using pre-ceramic as a reference), I always preferred the weight and size of the modern watches(ceramic), but I have told numerous times vintage ss sports watches are better. Is their an objective reasoning that many argue vintage is better than modern? Are the movements better, more durable, more reliable?
