- I agree with many of the other reviews. The watch is terribly cheap looking due to the fake crystals and poor enamel coloring. And, it is much too large for a wrist. The wrap around idea did not work. It was heavy and cumbersome.

Vacheron Constantin Vacheron Constantin 10298 wrist watches news:
I fell in love when I first saw the 18k Gold GMT IIc Anniversary. Never thinking I could afford it I would periodically make friendly visits to ADs just to look at it and try it on. I'm guilty of going to the different ADs at different time and would only come in if it wasn't the same sales person who helped me the last time. Always asking to try on the same watch and every time the price tag would just initimadate me and I would slowly hand the watch back to the sales person. Two years of this and I finally pulled the trigger! Did my research and found Scott Levin of TopNotchWatch to be reputable from this forums as well as others. I have always bought Rolex watches through an AD never straying away from them. My worst fear is being ripped off when it comes to watch purchases so this was my first time I'd ventured out and bought a watch from someone I never met.....all based on the seller's reputation. Scott Levin took his time to work with me through the transaction and was wit
My first post in this forum, been lurking around for sometime. Great idea to start a beginner's thread. Here is my collection so far:1. Panerai 111 - preowned2. Steinhart Nav-B Before purchasing the two above i've researched for about 5 months before pulling the trigger.I really want my next watch to be on a bracelet, chronograph, and under $2K. That's my only three requirements. So far I've looked at the follwoing:1. Omega Speedmaster Professional (prewoned)2. Baume Riviera (8724)3. Rolex Datejust (preowned), which is not chronogrpah4. Fortis B-42 Flieger Chronograph (preowned)I've researched all of the watches mentioned above and just haven't pulled the trigger on one of those. Are there any other choices that I might be missing, that would fall under my requirements. Please help!TK "Stirfry" Khen
OK, here's a question. When someone gets a new watch, why do we always say:"Wear it in good health".Why wouldn't I wear it in poor health when I'm feeling under the weather? Does wearing it in good health mean I can't wear it when I'm in poor health? I don't know about you, but my watches bring me much comfort. Isn't when I'm feeling poor the best time to wear my watch to help cheer me up? It's like a bowl of warm chicken soup Shouldn't we say "Wear it well thru thick & thin" or "wear it in all health"....Just a mindless afternoon thought
Is it a good price? What are your opinions of the watch? Is the blue lighter than the 'bond watches' or is it just the way the light is hitting it?Can you get a decent rubber strap that will fit properly?I like it, but know nothing about omegas, so all help as always is greatly appreciatedThankscgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=016
Oh well it only took 3 weeks but I've managed to snap the tiny tip off the end of the screwdriver I'm assuming you can buy a new tip from Panerai as it can be removed or do you have other recommendations? What size is the tip? I've read it's 1.6mm.
