IWC IW356502 wrist watches news:
I know, a loaded question. Looked around for an existing thread on the MBII but didn't find one. It uses a SOPROD ETA movement yes? Listed as:"Modified calibre 13 1/4¡± BE-36AE automatic chronometer, 25 jewels, glucydur balance. Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex 1 mainspring, 28,800 bph, 38 hour power reserve, Bremont moulded and skeletised decorated rotor."So, I'm wondering if the 4K ish (MSRP at the one dealer in my area) reflects what may be considered good value for the price. I know worth is very much subjective, but there's of course watches to compare price wise. Sinn for example, uses similar case hardening technology, good looks, etc, for far less $$$. Only using Sinn as an example, I don't know if the movement quality and or modifications to the movements are similar so perhaps not a very good 1:1 comparison per se. I guess Q is, what about the Bremont, be it the level of modifications to the movement, materials used, technologies added, etc, would make you feel the cost was a
Hey guys,I just wanted to share something really cool with you guys. I took a trip to the NYC Omega store for fun on Saturday, and my fiancee surprised me with cufflinks for our wedding in June. She's the best. I just wanted to share the pics with you guys because they are so awesome.
I am interested in your comments and observations about these two platinum, manual wind PPs. I own a Rolex Yachtmaster Blue and want a PP to wear for business and formal occasions. I am a professional in early 50s. I am leaning towards the 5980P Gondolo due to dial face and rarity. I also like the story behind the Gondolo Club. Thanks,David
Thinking about trading my 000 plus cash for a 111 or 510. For some reason, the seconds hand has really grown on me. Just wandering how the 111 or 510 fits/feels on the wrist vs. the 000. Still love the base model, this is just a thought at this point. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Much appreciated!
She does not appreciate my new bed cover.
