Zenith 03.2020.670/01.m2020 wrist watches news:
This is a rare one as only 300 of this watch were placed in a round case. 17 jewels, Breguet hairspring, double roller escapement, compensation balance, adjusted. Cased in either round or cushion shape silver case."The watch was tremendously popular with the American Expeditionary Force and the U.S. Navy, and we (the Hamilton Watch Company) have never been able to meet the demand for it." -Hamilton Watch, the Watch of Railroad Accuracy, p. 25Pic/description not mine
I've been keeping track of my Breitling for the last 3 weeks to check if it's running slow or fast. The first week it was running 4 seconds fast. The second week it was 8 seconds fast and by the third week it was 14 seconds fast. I set the watch according to the government time website and reference back to the website every week. Question:Is this normal? With my Breitling being COSC certified, shouldn't it be more accurate?Should i take it to my watch store to get the watch adjusted?Anyone experience this type of problem?

I am considering a Zeno with an AS 1783 17 jewels Hand Winding Movement. Zeno's website does not list this watch or movement. While doing an online search I came across a similar watch but with an AS 1783 Automatic movement. I couldn't find any info for the Hand Winding version. Does anyone have any experience with or info about the AS 1783 Hand Wind Cal.? Is this a bottom of the line movement or a reliable and sturdy movement and will it provide years and years of trouble free timekeeping? What accuracy can I expect from this movement? Any info is greatly appreciated.
Hi allwell i went ahead and bought the m36 lumtec but now the mechanical bug has hit hard. I have never owned a mechanical watch before and so i am asking for suggestions. I love the look of the dive or sports watches such as stolas, deep blue and lum tec but being my first mechanical i really want to beable to see as much of the working inside of the watch as possible without it being a full skeleton (so partial or at least with the back case showing the insides). It needs to be at least 100m water resistant and i would like the case diameter to be no more than 42mm. Also needs to be a good brand with a tried and tested movement. We are working with a budget of $750 and under.any suggestions would be appreciated.
