Zenith 03.2040.400/21.C496 wrist watches news:
Up in the mountains of Switzerland watch movements are made. Down in the city of Geneva watches are borne. The contrast between the people who make the inside of watches and the outside of them is a benefit to the industry. You want watchmakers to be focused, hard workers who dedicate their lives to building high performance mechanical machines. On the other hand you want designers to be more cosmopolitan souls with an eye on culture and art.At Piaget this is pretty much the way it is - and for the better. Piaget is an often misunderstood watch brand because of their status as a high-end jewelry maker and connection to elite socialites. It is true, Piaget offers some of the most impressive high-jewelry undertakings of any brand. They also operate an almost full-time custom shop for clients interested in all manners of unique jewelry and watches that will only be owned by them.Piaget's origins aren't based in precious stones or designer wear. As I have mentioned before, Piaget began as
Well after some time/arguing with Julie, after me beggin if we could go and look at Breitling's, I'm a budget watch guy now, she made it pretty clear that it's her or watches, and that I can have both if I keep the budget down. Then I had come up with the point that if I just saved and didn't buy a "budget" aka lower priced watched every 2 months or so, I could get a Breitling or Omega. It's hard to come up with a reason to her as to why I want either or. Not that I'm not proud of my collection now, trust me I'am. There are alot of nice lower priced watches that I would be very proud to say I own. It's just tough because I see everyone here with their Omega's and Rolex's and Patek's and I just get so jealous, but then I have to step back and realize I don't have the kind of cash and I'm not good at saving! I just wanted to vent that about my collecting, and if anyone is like this or in the same postion as I'am. I feel for you!!!!!! This is still such a great forum, and a great place
Hello everyone, first of all and just to let you know, we are very new here. After looking around and searching for good forums for quite a while, we figured this one's a great one to start a account. My name is Nemo and together with my wife Mina, we started this project a year ago. I always wanted to design my own products and had this passion since i was a kid. And since i am a watch-addict too, there it was. In addition to that, my wife is a huge fashion addict wich gave us the opportunity to create something wich we believe is a watch that combines so many contemporary design aspects in a very subtle way.We would love to take the chance here, to get some feedback from real watch lovers.Rose_small.jpg Black.jpg Silver.jpg packaging_both.jpg rose-15.jpg
Hello All.This is my first post (with a question in it) here. I've enjoyed lurking, and seeing everyone's great collections. I've always wanted a Sub, but I'm far from affording one. I believe that luxury items should not be financed. You don't have to do much research on the Sub to see that certian variations have skyrocketed in value since their inception, and, that the older they get, the more they're worth. So my question is this: Which currently-produced and lower-priced (Non-Rolex) sport brands and models would you see as a similar investment as a Sub purchased way back when? My idea is to buy a few watches from new brands that have solid quality, and a very good chance at gaining great value over a long period of time-much like Rolex Subs/Dwellers did. Thanks in advance for your input.
