Parmigiani Bugatti 10-Year Anniversary Watch Debuts at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
The first watch to arise from the partnership of boutique Swiss watch brand Parmigiani Fleurier and French luxury automaker Bugatti, the Bugatti Type 370 watch, launched in 2004. To commemorate 10 years of the partnership, and 10 years of Parmigiani Bugatti watches, Parmigiani unveiled the first of three limited-edition anniversary models at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.The Parmigiani Bugatti Type 370 Mythe takes its cues from the “engine block for thew wrist” aesthetic of that original Type 370 watch, including its unprecedented “transverse tubular” movement design, which assembles the plates and gears along a horizontal axis rather than a traditional vertical one. We brought you the Fiona Kruger Skull Watch for Halloween, but with Halloween behind us, the Christmas season is upon us. Poor Thanksgiving gets gobbled up by the ever-earlier end of the year holidays. Just when you are sure the Swiss watch industry is uber serious, along comes the Swatch Holiday Twist watch. WTF Rolex Forum Members and Friends:I wanted to take this opportunity to apologize to Jake of Jake's Rolex Watch Blog (rolexwatchblog).Jake approached me some months ago asking for a link on The Rolex Reference Page, as well some general cooperation. Of course, I get several such requests all the time. When I took a look at his watch blog, I didn't see a lot of original content (at the time it had mostly celebrity shots wearing Rolex watches and catalog shots) or depth of information. I politely declined, thinking that perhaps Jake was a new Rolex owner that had decided to put up a blog that might be gone in a few months when his interests shifted in another direction. Boy, was I wrong. In the past few months Jake has filled his blog with incredibly in-depth content. Quite honestly, Jake has done amazingly in-depth research into previously untaped areas of Rolex history and lore, and published his findings for free on his blog. My hats off to Jake and his contribution to the Rol

It was a great pleasure meeting up with our new forum friend Roger (aka Conkers) over a short but pleasant afternoon tea in Orchard Road. You may have already known him as an avid watch collector with some very exquisite AP, PP & RM pieces in his stable. He has also shared that he's working out deals on some very special APs... I won't tell you much here, but all I can say is to stay tuned... we might see something really 25721 vs PT44The PT44 ROO is really a handsome watch! Our meeting ended with a quick visit to the AP boutique nearby... and there we saw a few LE like MS & SB. Great meeting, Roger! See you in HK next week!
