- This is such a pretty watch, only it was too large for my wrist. The casing was a little too thick, but the design excellent. I had to send it back because it looked silly on my wrist. Shame really!!

- This watch is just what I wanted. A clean lean design with easy to read dial. The stainless steel band makes it feel industrial and indestructible but the diamonds offset it with a bit of bling!

Zenith 95.2430.693/51.C751 wrist watches news:
Last week, I had the opportunity to join Zenith in Paris for the launch of the 2015 Tour Auto Optic 2000 classic car rally, which marked both the Swiss brand’s inaugural year as the Tour’s official timekeeper and the debut of the El Primero Chronomaster 1969 Tour Auto Edition timepiece. Scroll down for more on the event and the limited-edition watch.Zenith, founded in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1865 by George Favre-Jacot, commemorates its 150th anniversary this year, and the sponsorship of the Tour Auto, one of the most important events on the international classic-car-racing calendar, is but one of a number of initiatives the brand has taken to increase awareness of its many milestones and accomplishments. Watch aficionados and watch historians are undoubtedly familiar with some of these. Its founder Favre-Jacot, at the tender age of 22, was the first watch entrepreneur to bring all the stages of watch production under one roof, a revolutionary concept in an era when these a
HelloI've found a Clebar electronic gold watch, Swiss made.I've done a small scratch near the hole, and as you can see on the photo, it still gold in the scratch. Is it solid gold, how much karat it could be ?The electonic are kind of hybrid type, it's partly mechanical with a very small electro-magnet to move the balance wheel. The second hand move smoothly like in a mechanical watch. The steel back cover do have a number: C45 24 003Anybody know about this watch ?Here's the links to the images:s2.postimg.org/5ei4tmi0p/DSC00827.jpgs7.postimg.org/yug9a58pj/DSC00830.jpgs10.postimg.org/5in4yoii1/DSC00845.jpgThankByeGaetan
These Obaku Harmony watches certainly look nice but are there any owners here? I'm considering getting one and would like some feedback. Thanks,Rob
I would not normally bring up a subject like this but my wife recently brought it up and I must say I tend to agree with her views. Last month I was lucky enough to purchase 3 watches - An I.W.C. Pilots Chronograph and aGlashutte Original Senator Navigator for myself and a Bi-metal Rolex Datejust for my wife. The two watches that I purchased for myself were presented in beautifully crafted boxes which made them seem special. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the Rolex box which to put it frankly is extremely cheap and nasty. I was amazed at this because Rolex put so much emphasis on image. I know we all just take the watch out of it's box and put it away but when one gives an expensive gift the least you should be able to expect is quality packaging. Judging by the number of "incoming" posts showing pictures of the various stages of opening the box a lot of other members of the forum must feel the same.
As the title implies, I am considering my first Rolex. My options are the Explorer 1 (lumed 39MM) or the 5-digit ExplorerII. Prices are relatively close. My wife likes the New Explorer. She feels it is dressier. I like the older Explorer2s. In theory, it's a gift from her. Black EXP2 maybe dressier than white with dark dial and gold hands and surrounds?
