Looking for that perfect watch, with out mutilating the bank
G'day guys. Couple months back I was holidaying in Bulgaria, looking at all the boutique shops. Anyway, long story short I saw a watch which I basically fell in love with! It was $500 too, which for me is pushing the figures right out of the window. Mind you I'm only 15, but the love I felt for this watch is indescribable!Sadly, I forgot the name of the watch.Are there any other watches which fit under these?-Black metal/silicon band-carbon fibre face plate (I'm a carbon junky)-red and black coloursBasically, I'm a like things to match. Seeing as my road bike is red, white and black, why not have a matching watch to boot?Thanks in advance.

Up for your perusal is my new (to me) 1960 Seamaster. The band is a little loose but silky smooth. It also seems to be keeping good time. I'm really rough on watches so I don't see this as an everyday wearer (work week). Should I get a winder to keep it on while not wearing it? Does it hurt a watch to let it run down during the week?Looking forward to learning about all things automatic.Tim

For those of you who are interested in full sets, how important is the green hang tag? You come across the perfect watch. It has the warranty papers. The outer and inner box. All the manuals are present. The Red/green chronometer tag is included. But wait... no green tag...I¡¯d say half the ¡°full sets¡± I¡¯ve purchased used over the years came without the green tag. I¡¯ve heard some AD¡¯s keep these although I¡¯ve never had one keep it when I¡¯ve bought new. So would you pass on a watch because of a missing green tag?
