Alain Silberstein Krono B2 LiCHEN wrist watches news:
Hey, all!My son recently got a hold of my Seiko Arctura (pictured below), model 5M32-0AL0, and broke one of the links near the clasp Little bugger.Anyway, since it's broken, and I've never really loved the band anyway, I would like to replace it with a rubber strap if at all possible. I live in Vladivostok, Russia, so there's no such thing as an authorized Seiko dealer. Would anyone happen to know where I could order a rubber strap for this watch? Or, failing that, new links for this watch? I've tried googling but nothing seems to come up.Your help is appreciated!
Noticed another thread on a glitzy gold watch and it prompted me to post this to ask if anyone has seen similar models. An Admiral from the 1970s with a custom band that matches the case, no doubt created by Longines - but did they do many small runs like this?.5000425719-b3_1_b.JPG
For everyone who has a Nomos, when you sent in your registration card, did Nomos send you anything back or acknowledge they received it? When I sent in my Tutima registration, Tutima actually sent me a really nice baseball cap. Not that I am expecting that from Nomos ( a German manufacture movement at a great price is enough, thanks) but I would like to know that they got it. What's your experience?
Can someone post a pic of the 2 side by side please...I've been looking at this piece for a while and, other than dial color, is there anything significant (e.g. improved movement, etc.).AP novice so thanks in advance for the info!
I am very new to high quality watches, I just bought a Rolex 116610LN few weeks back, it was the first time I went over $500 for a watch. It was bought for a life achievement and it already is one of the coolest purchases I have ever made, meaning... I simply love it.I just want to tell you guys, you collectors/owners, that I salute the brand Patek Philippe, totally admire it, and love when you guys bust out the wrist shots. However listen up! I am a few years away from my 50th birthday, and each one of these wrist shots adds fuel to a future fire that I may not be able to control when that day arrives, so go easy on me ok... (KhalidSS you listening!) In all seriousness though, Patek Philippe represents (IMHO) the best of the best, and to own one is in itself a life achievement.Cheers!
